Ordering instructions
Ordering from the Lappituote online store is easy and safe.
We use an encrypted connection on our website, so your information is safe.
To order from our online store, you need a login. If you do not yet have a login, you can register a customer account on our website. Registration requires a business ID, as this website is intended for corporate customers. As a registered customer, you can also read our product catalogs linked to the homepage.
First, select the desired product and quantity, and then press the Add to Cart button. This will move the product to the shopping cart, which is displayed in the upper right corner, and you can view the contents of the shopping cart from there. You can also add or remove products you have added to the shopping cart. The products will remain in the shopping cart, even if you browse other pages in between. You can also edit the shopping cart at a later stage of the order, and adding a product to the shopping cart does not yet mean that you have placed an order.
When you have selected all the products you want, click on the shopping cart. There you will see a summary of the products with their quantities and prices. Click on the “checkout” button, where you can fill in your delivery and billing information and see the total price of the order. All fields marked with an asterisk must be filled in and the contents of the fields will be saved in your customer account. This way, when you place your next order, the fields will be filled in automatically and you do not need to touch them unless your information has changed.
Payment is not made at the checkout, but an invoice for the order will be issued after the products leave our warehouse.
By clicking the “send order” button, you will submit your order. You will then receive a summary of the order on the screen and an order confirmation in your email.
Delivery and payment methods
Flexible payment terms and fast delivery
Orders will be delivered to your address or the nearest post office, unless you specifically request delivery to a specific post office, in which case the order will be delivered there. Deliveries will be made via either Matkahuolto or Posti, depending on which shipping company is better for the customer.
Orders are not paid for at the time of ordering, but are invoiced afterwards. This makes ordering more flexible and reduces the amount of subscriber information processed through the website.

Purpose of processing personal data
Online store orders form the core content of the customer register. The information is collected for the purpose of processing and delivering orders.
Data content of the register
The customer's name, address, email and telephone number requested for orders are stored in the register.

- From the customer themselfs via email or telephone, regarding a customer relationship, assignment or joint project
- Based on billing information or public contact information of the customer or partner

Principles of register protection
The register is protected in Lappituote's electronic systems, which comply with appropriate data protection. Only persons whose work duties relate to it can process the information in the register.
Right of inspection
Anyone who is part of Lappituote Oy's customer register has the right to check the information about them in our register. The customer can send a query to toimisto@lappituote.fi
The right to request correction of information

Other rights related to the processing of personal data
A person included in the customer register has the right to prohibit the data controller from processing information about them and to request that their information be removed from the register.
Prohibition of cookie-based communication occurs through the user's browser settings.
Billing information and orders cannot be deleted because they must be retained according to the Accounting Act.

These delivery terms and conditions are valid from 20.8.2024. We may change our delivery terms from time to time, so please familiarize yourself with our terms and conditions when ordering products from our online store. We will inform our registered customers of any changes.
Products and product prices
The features and prices of the products in the online store are presented in connection with the product presentation of each product. We reserve the right to change prices and delivery costs, so please check the prices in the shopping cart before accepting the order. The prices of the products do not include taxes, which is reflected in the shopping cart and order confirmation.
Shipping costs
Any shipping costs that may be charged for an order depend on the product itself (e.g. weight, packaging size) and are added to the invoice after the order has been packaged and the amount of postage is known to us.

You can order products in our online store by adding them to your shopping cart, confirming the order, and paying for the contents of your shopping cart in the payment service. When ordering from our online store, you are required to have read and agreed to our current delivery terms and conditions.

Delivery time
We strive to ship products as soon as possible after receiving the order, the exact time depends entirely on the current situation. For example, during peak seasons, delivery may be a few days slower.
Submission verification, errors and problem situations
Please check the delivery immediately upon receipt. If the product is lost or damaged during transport, or if it does not correspond to your order or is incorrect, please notify our customer service as soon as possible so we can start correcting the error.

Limitation of liability

We strive to resolve any disputes regarding your order primarily by agreement, so please contact our customer service first to resolve the matter.
